riverguy9  > Motorcycles > FZ1 bar riser project
Tired of leaning so far forward on this bike, I've opted to install extreme handlebar risers. 5 inches. There was no slack in control cables, wiring and front brake lines, so everything needed to be extended. New Galfer brake lines really do improve braking.

Here's the finished conversion, sans windscreen. Five inch rise.
Pump out tank.
Generic car electric fuel pump (diaphragm) moves gas quickly.
"Before"
I taped a wooden wedge in the front brake to keep it from accidentally getting moved.
Some of the stuff I bought to do this. Control cables and wiring.
Committing: Cutting into wiring
Hook style splices, offset in groups of three to avoid large bulge inside overall shrink tubing.
